 Actual history

The USS Nemesis, an aircraft carrier, is a fictional warship; and therefore does not have any actual history. The in-game model is heavily based on another fictional ship, the UNS Coral Sea.

Fictional, fan made, history

It was the year 1991. Mikhail Gorbachev never rose to power, and the ideals of Glasnost and Perestroika were never introduced. The USSR maintains its momentum by the determined proletariats and the manipulative leaders despite the economic downturn. The Cold War continued up to the 21st century, with both bellierents developing very promising technologies and ship designs.

During the year 2016, the Soviet Union introduced the rather obscure design details for the Project 23000e as a response to the United States' Gerald R Ford class. The West took this as a taunt by the Reds, and they refused to lag behind the extravagant arms race.
